Soccer
The Police Activities League Soccer Program is a recreational league for youth ages 5 to 12. The program runs two seasons: a fall and a spring. Dates for the fall season begin with registration in August and the season running from September to early November. Spring season begins with registration in February and games from March to early May. Registration can easily be done online. The league is for youth 5-14 years of age with the age cut off being August 1st of the fall season. Attempts are made to equally divide the youth as to talent and since the program is co-ed, attempts are made to equally distribute the girls among the teams.
The coaches are volunteers who are properly screened. We, as an organization, are extremely lucky to have such a fine group of volunteers to serve as mentors to these youth and to keep the program alive.

- The Park & Rec Rainout Line is: 704-336-5800 then #4 for Eastway Park.
We will follow any closures made by P&R - All practices will be at Eastway Park
- Beginning this week we will have evening practices at Eastway Park
- Wednesday evenings are from 6 - 7:30 for 6 & Under; 8 & Under; and 10 & Under age groups
- Practices for those youth over 11 years old and being on Coaches Zak's, Ben's and Mario's teams practice Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30 pm
- All games for youth 6&U; 8&U and 10&U will be at Eastway Park
